Question
:
What do the world's best athletes and LIFT have in common?
Answer:
They both train at high altitude!
And there is a very good reason for that. At altitude there are changes taking place both physically and physiologically that can create improved performance for when we descend.
What can participants expect?
Through this program emphasis is placed on observing human behaviour at altitude to illustrate how and why people get the results they do. This program looks at the personal elements that lift some people skywards and keep others flying in turbulence.
Attitude at Altitude demonstrates not only how we can affect our own outlook on life, but also influence the attitudes of others.
Like all LIFT programs, participants take part in theoretical components that include stories and anecdotes of people in their best, worst and indifferent phases.
The second session has participants in the simulator testing the effects of attitude as they take part in examining the reactions and consequences of various behaviours. By using the simulator we are able to illustrate practically how we influence circumstances through our actions, expressions, values and words.
Thirdly, participants are encouraged to look at ways we can all maintain and strengthen our attitude to events and situations that are undesirable, difficult or that challenge our core beliefs.
What participants will learn and be able to apply:
The attitudes and actions of winning performances.
How to keep a positive attitude when faced with negative people.
Why our attitude affects our outcomes and how to influence both.
How to appreciate attitudes different from your own and influence others with yours.
